1. In one of Allison Graham's Tedx Talks she is trying to explain how social media is making us unsocial. She is making some crucial points about how we are always distracted by our cell phones. How social media and the internet in the 25 years of their existence are killing the possibility of expressing ourselves. 2. On this page I found some useful information about Why are we addicted to social media. It explains how the brain works and it is nicely presented in an interactive infographic. One of the most fascinating facts from this link was that 56% of people said that they were afraid of missing out on something important online.

3. This video shows how social contact and interaction are crucial for our development. How we need to speak from an early age to learn a language. How we need physical activity to be able to walk. These 5 cases of feral children (wild children, living isolated from society) are an example of how this can end in the worst possible scenario for children growing up today.
